Privacy Policy
Effective May 9, 2026
Spool Pantry is built around a simple privacy principle: we don’t collect your data.
What we collect
Nothing. Spool Pantry has no analytics, no telemetry, no third-party SDKs, no advertising, no tracking. The app does not send any information about you, your usage, or your device to us or to anyone else.
Where your data lives
All data you enter in Spool Pantry — your filament spools, photos, printers, shelves, notes — is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad.
If you’re signed into iCloud, the app uses Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit to sync that data between your own Apple devices. This data goes into your private iCloud storage, governed by Apple’s privacy policies. It never goes to us. We have no servers, no databases, and no ability to read what you put in the app.
Camera and photo library
Spool Pantry asks for permission to use the camera and your photo library so you can attach a photo to a spool. Photos you attach are stored only with the corresponding spool — they live on your device and (if you have iCloud sync enabled) in your iCloud. We never see them.
Children’s privacy
Spool Pantry is rated 4+ and is appropriate for all ages. We do not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Your rights
Because we don’t collect data, there is nothing for us to delete, export, or correct on your behalf. To delete your data, delete the app, and (optionally) remove its iCloud data via Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Spool Pantry.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
